Titans Rising – My Miracle
“The visions,” Dinlas says aloud. “That’s why we both had visions, Eros. If that dimension is crumbling, it’s becoming porous.”
“The visions,” Dinlas says aloud. “That’s why we both had visions, Eros. If that dimension is crumbling, it’s becoming porous.”
I looked up at Eros and noticed the blood running from his eyebrow, and the taste of blood in my mouth.
“The living, breathing pulse of Gaia, the pulse of the world. Isn’t it beautiful, Thanner?” Hyp spoke reverently from beside me.
“What it looks like is a dead body! Did you do this?” I felt my control slip and struggled to push the Gorgon down.
I return his punches, the anger giving me inordinate strength, and between returning strikes, the truth slips from me. “She! Took! My! Wings!”
“I know that. I would never hurt Clio, but I also don’t think I should be the one you’re worried about, Starlight.”
“You’ve been lost. You’ve let your domain swallow you whole.” “My domain?” “You’re the god of chaos, sweet cheeks,” he laughed, “it’s not the god of you.”
“Then I guess you have no problem going before Zeus,” he spoke matter of factly. “Zeus can’t kiss my ass,” I spat.
That seals it in my mind, I knew it, Frankenstein, 1931. It was Hyp’s favorite movie.
“Nothing has changed. You can not make slaves of this world. You know that we will never allow it.”
“I saw right through you before. No, you’re nothing but a piss-poor little witch with a boatload of daddy issues.”
“What are you thinking? Everyone obviously knows who I am. Why aren’t you screaming and running away? What did you even think you could do here?”
Because I wasn’t wrong before. I didn’t see things that weren’t there; it was not a trick of the light. Those are her eyes.
I watch as my mother moves the slit in her toga, revealing a dagger strapped to her thigh. She unsheaths it, showing me the deadly metal shimmering in the sunlight.
“She won’t deal with mortals, which creates an issue, because there are occasions when the need arises. I know your fondness for the humans you created, so you can handle that element.”
